Missing Images

If images are not appearing in Pearl, there are several common reasons and solutions to explore:

1. Images Not Synced from PMS or Imaging Software

  • Check for Changes: Have there been any recent changes to your imaging system, practice management software (PMS), or server configuration?

  • Possible Disconnection: Pearl may have lost connection to your imaging system or PMS.
    👉 Fix: Submit a support request so we can assist in re-establishing the connection.


2. Historical Image Limits

  • Pearl can retrieve historical X-rays based on your subscription level and the capabilities of your imaging system:

    • Second Opinion: Typically pulls up to 12 months of historical X-rays.

    • Practice Intelligence: Can retrieve up to 18 months of historical X-rays.

⚠️ Note: Some imaging systems do not allow access to historical data. In those cases, only images captured after Pearl was installed will be available.


3. Unsupported Imaging Types

  • Pearl only processes images captured in supported imaging software and file types.

  • Unsupported formats or imaging systems will not sync.
