Requesting a Radiologist Report

Overview

Sometimes you'll want a second, expert opinion on a scan — whether it's a complex finding, something outside your usual area of focus, or additional documentation to support your standard of care. Second Opinion 3D lets you request that review directly inside the product.*

How It Works

1. Open the CBCT scan and click Request Report at the top of the viewer.
   
2. Fill out the short order form: note the purpose of the referral, enter the email that should receive the report, and choose your turnaround.
   
3. Submit. An oral and maxillofacial radiologist reviews the scan and sends a password protected report to the email you provided. The password will be found in the submission summary.

Pricing and Turnaround

This fee is per report, separate from your overall Second Opinion 3D package, and is added to your next invoice.

Best Practices

• Use the reason-for-referral field to point the radiologist to your specific concern — this helps them focus their review and respond more precisely.
