What is Instant Breakdown?
While Pearl automatically verifies insurance for all patients scheduled within the next two weeks, there are times when you may need to manually check benefits.
The Instant Breakdown feature is designed for these scenarios, such as:
- New patients not yet in the system
- Same-day appointments or last-minute additions
- Updated insurance information that needs immediate verification
How to Use Instant Breakdown
- Navigate to the Instant Breakdown Tool.
- Enter the patient’s insurance information into the form fields provided.
- Submit the request to generate the benefit details instantly.
The system will search the insurance database and return the patient's coverage information, allowing you to proceed with accurate, up-to-date benefits at hand.
When to Use Instant Breakdown
- Patient is not yet scheduled or falls outside the automatic two-week verification window
- Insurance information was recently updated or corrected
- Immediate benefit information is needed for treatment planning or same-day scheduling
